freelander 1 vcu swap around

hi, is it possible to put a 2000 year freelander 1 2.0 l vcu bearings onto a freelander 1 v6 vcu...if you can would you then be able to use the vcu from the v6 freelander 1 on my freelander 1 2.0 l model...are the vcu the same apart from the rubber damper which is not on the v6 vcu...i only ask because where i live the price for a v6 vcu is 100 pounds cheaper than the other one..
