Hi everyone,
First time post with my 2005 freelander 2.0 td
I recently sold my defender 90 which had been raised and had what I can only describe as tractor tyres fitted, as you can imagine that thing went anywhere I wanted it to. Now however I find myself in possession of as the title states a standard 2005 freelander.
Don't get me wrong I love driving it but need it to do more. I am looking at having it raised by 40mm but was wondering what is the biggest tyre size and most practical tyres I will be able to fit on to the standard 16" wheels ensuring that they don't rub on full lock giving me the much needed extra ground clearance?????
It will be a daily driver during the winter months so tractor tyres are out this time.
Thanks in anticipation
