Freelander 1 TD4 Pre Facelift To facelift conversion help??

Hi folks so i’m having the thought of Putting the facelift dash and cluster into my pre… what’s involved, How would i get new cluster to work is it plug and play im not bothered for mileage etc if i need ecu de immobilised i can do it myself, going to buy facelift front end and dash cluster etc, plan is to turn my 5dr 03 td4 into a lifted commercial style, already got the front cage and 3dr rubber flooring, i need to make door skins for rear for the 3dr commercial floor mat to fit and around the boot area but it’ll come together, then metal out rear windrows and boot, delete window motor and switch as it hate it on 5dr, Currently running 180hp mapped, straight piped, etc going to 50mm lift it next week and checker plate some exterior panels for looks anything else i can do for power i know bmw crank upgrade 535 injectors etc and gtb2060 is what i want but drive train won’t hack it lol, any info helps thanks

Ask in the Freelander section of the main forum for more traffic.

From memory the later Ipack can't easily be installed into a pre-facelift vehicle. The data buses are different, as are harnesses, ABS module, CCU and alarm/ immobiliser module.

It seems a lot work for what is just a cosmetic change.
