Hi all. Had Landys for many years and few months past bought Mrs a FL1 with TD4 motor - 2001 model manual.
It was needing a brake refresh last week so gave it new front discs/pads/calipers and new rear shoes/cylinders and ABS sensors all round (good ones) and fresh fluid flush.
Just went to take it to shops got 30-60 feet and TC light came on then r/h front caliper locked on and dived to right! Managed to continue along for 1/4 mile stopping frequently, after stopping it freed the caliper would move off then lock on again. Did the same all the way back. By this point OSF disc was roasting and all other 3 corners cool.
Got back to house put on my Bearmach scanner and only codes were for 2 of the abs wheel sensors showing low/no signal (shows permanent ABS light on dash but no codes until out on road) - knew this already as those 2 abs rings are broken and not got the time to change yet. This shows up as no reading on NSF and OSR under 5mph with no codes then when out on road shows as a code.
Any suggestions folks? never came across problem like this before.
Need sorted asap to get Mrs to work.

OK - the fuse is short term but surely 2 false readings on abs sensors is not causing the TC to active on 1 wheel only (and that 1 is is getting a reading) - or is it?

It would depend on the broken ring and it's sensor. If it's sending random pulses then yes the ECU could well be activating the TC. Nothing surprises me on a cars electronic equipment any more.
