Freelander 1 revers sensors

Hi this is my first post my name is Dave I have a Freelander 1 diesel automatic just recently when I put it in revers I get a bleeping that lasts about 45 sec the sensors have stopped working the revers lights work I have listened to the sensors for clicking but nothing any help on this problem would be a great help.This is my second Freelander my first one was no trouble.
