Hi Gang,
My tailgate window has been a bit sticky for a while, so when I closed the tailgate recently the window closed outside the top seal. I didn't spot it until the next morning and when i went to close it properly it started clicking very loudly. For a few days now it won't drop when the handle is operated. Then it started to drop completely when I opened the door, and I had to raise it via the switch, and today it would only rise a little, and very jerkily. I had to get my wife to operate the switch and manually assist the window in order to get it shut. At the same time the wiper has stopped working. HEEELP!. TIA.

In the short term, you could stick a sheet of plywood over the window. A bit of a pain with the rear view mirror l know.
In the medium to long term, I would stick your question on the Freelander thread, and I’m sure you will get some advice.
