I will never ever use ___part again I was opening my bonnet and snap the cable went not a real big deal as I can open a freelander bonnet in a few minuets and I went onto the net and ordered one, it had the same part number as the real thing but when it arrived it was Britpart , I thought o well I will put it on, only it was ground hog day the number of times I had to undo the bonnet with my simple tool was unbelievable in the end I phone stratstones up and ordered a new cable at a cost of £23.28 the s---part cost £21.95 so genuine cost £1.33 more , the reason the ----part kept coming off was it is thinner outer casing and the wire is longer by near a half inch. please god next time, tell me not to use S---part the one in question is the one in black

One thing I've found is that some sites, eg Rimmers, do not tell you who makes the part you are ordering - they will just say "aftermarket". Others, eg LRDirect, do actually list who makes the part you are ordering.

Having said that, the first ****Part part went on my car last weekend and I knowingly bought it as that - an intercooler hose. I hope I don't regret it!

Why is everyone blanking out the company name? It’s Britpart.

A lot of Britpart bits are crap. Some are OK, like brake pads. It’s the blue box lottery.
