Freelander 1 facelift double din.

Evening all

My good ladyhas bought a double din stereo to replace the knackered Harmon Kardon nav/stereo. my question is will the HK amp work ok with a pioneer double din. The OEM stereo only works on the front drivers speaker so i'm either expectiing a dead amp or hopefully just the corroded connectors in the door.

Has anyone done the conversion from single to double din and got all the steering wheel controls sorted
