Freelander 1 extras

I am looking at getting a new freelander 1 can I put a snorkel on it for off road and to ,a key it look a bit more beefy

Muddy mods (Diesel Do on here)

Not cheap but looks nicely made

Be aware, if the water is deep enough that you need a snorkel then your Freelander will be floating!

Good tyres are a safer and better bet!

Or if you want it for 'looks' how about a fake one?
Bits n bobs from ebay, black plastic drain pipe?

A bit over the top for the first mod, and as htr says, unnecessary. Like draping a Miss World sash over your wife.

How about:
Chunky tyres - BFG ATs
Shiny black modular steel wheels
Front bullbar/A frame and extra lights
Light guards
2" lift

Like the sound of the bull bar and extra lights so easy I have contacted e across is a copy pay who expansion roof racks for the freelander what about that

Right, it's 5 o'clock. Time for grumpy old git mode:

If you just write words down as you say them, with no punctuation or sentences, everyone has to read your post twice to guess where to pause, and where a question occurs. You could blame autocorrect for the jumbled words, but you're operating the machine - fix it. If you cause an accident because your indicator didn't self-cancel after a roundabout, you can't blame the indicator stalk - it's your fault.

Anyway, extra lights and guards would be a good first step. Try a browse on Muddy Mods, Paddocks, John Craddock and Island 4x4.

Does anyone else still insist on apostrophes, semi-colons and the like even in texts and WhatsApp messages?

I'm not great with the punctuation myself. I'm sure Dyslexia has something to do with it. I couldn't spell when I left school, but don't do to bad these days. Correct punctuation is still a mystery however.

If the OP wants bull bars and lights. Then would something like this fit the bill?

I have cunningly disguised it as a washing line as it seems to suit the Freelander better than an ugly rough old winch.

Wait until you see my snorkel conversion!

After buying a few different makes. Not many of which were actually fitted with CREE emmiters, as described. I got one badged Kaleep. This has 42 3Watt CREE XB-D emmiters and came from a supplier in Germany. It's rated at 126 Watts. However it's actual power is just under 80 Watts. This is good as under driving an LED will increase it's life, but only have a marginal drop in light output.

This is the emmiters it's fitted with.
