"freebie" started on 11 year old diesel!!!!

A 1981 series 3 i was given has become a runner ! (Thanks to james and tobi)
It started on the second turn of the key and ran a treat, it has'nt be started since 2000 and has sat out side in all weathers. i thought id chance just cranking it over but couldnt believe it when it fired up on 11 year old diesel !!!

Now i have load of other jobs to do !! maybe the first will be to get all the moss and lichen growning on the roof off !!!

Im enjoying the new world of series landrovers !!

Why have you started another thread on the same subject? We are all made up for you and your 11 year old diesel but there really is no need for multiple posts.

Spoilsport! If I'd just got a landy running after 11 years standing I'd have multiple posted it to every section in the zone! All I can say is congratulations and good luck on the rest of the project - we'll be seeing you again.
