Free tyres

I haven't amassed the required amount of posts to use the for sale section but I have a pair of yokohama geolandar tyres in 225 55 17 that I have just removed from my freelander both have approx 8mm tread, one has had a professional puncture repair pretty much dead centre of the tyre other than that both tyre are very good, no slices, no bulges, no damage. They are in my way so are free, I'm based in Herts AL9 6JR I'm home during the days so they can be picked up days, evenings or weekends. Sorry to put this in the general section but hope someone can benefit from them

These are in my way so if nobody wants them they are going to the dump on Saturday maybe Sunday so if anyone wants them speak now. Too good to dump really, but need the space

Good luck with the dump, last time I had to fill out war and peace and was informed I could only take 4 tyres per year there.... That was nigh on 10 years ago so I can only assume its got worse.

PS they also rudely told me "its not a dump any more Mr, its a recycling centre"

My local dump/recycling centre take tyres without question I dumped four used winter tyres a couple of weeks ago, the guy even unloaded them for me.

Have you noticed that tyre fitting centres tend to store their used tyres outside?
I'd bet they don't count them to make sure no more appeared since they closed the day before.
