I havea overfinch 3.6TDV8. Didn't made the jorney back in UK. Lost compression. Not starting. Engine is turning. Free to anywone willing to collect from germany. 500miles away from calais. Many new parts. Tdv8 3.6 overfinch. 2007 need it collected asap and drop me off at Manchester. The car is yours. I just need my tools and me droped off Manchester

I've changed so many things on it. All 4 thermostats. Still no heat in the cabin. It did well for 1200miles but german roadworks are endless and it went hot and not starting. Such a head turner...

Thatlk be the heat exchange valve on the bulkhead. Not that it matters now. Wonder if your head gaskets gone like mine has.

I take it you've got the relevant proof of ownership on you and can transfer it to whoever decides to take you up on this? Is it a UK registered car?

Yes. I found out about that valve but it was too late. Yes. I have V5 and 9months of mot left. Its a great project or parts donor. Shame to see it go but have no budget for it at the moment

Can it be left where it is indefinitely without risk of fines/charges? If so I'd concentrate on getting yourself sorted first

Tricky. Knowing germans they will fine me big time if i leave it on the services. Last chance tomorrow or i'll giving it to the guy who sold me the battery lol

I would consider it but not going back to the UK .

I have to make a decision tomorrow. If you get me to uk. Either london or manchester. I have my tools in it. If you are in germany or eu 600€ its yours.thats how much will cost me to get back to uk. Many new parts and engine is turning. No compression. Probably head gasket on the way. Spent 2 weeks in the garage changing alternator, battery, injector washers, rockers gaskets, new 4 thermostats, thermostat housing, waterpump. Didn't know about the heat exchanger and that what made it overheat. Engine was sweet. Turbos are good. Chainbeen changen, new tyres, ceramic pads, suspension. On and on. Some cosmeticals left.

Haha ive got enough projects atm, what you need to spend on that will be what its worth when repaired so im out.
