This may not suit everyone or every vehicle, but I swapped the orientation of the lower air vents so now they blow the air up towards your body rather than blasting your feet! I much prefer the warming effect during the colder months and mornings.
Simply unscrew the two screws and rotate 180 and reattach! You can even swap the passenger side to driver’s side and vice versa, for a more direct air blast ( the passenger side will now blow up and across to the driver ).
Worth a try.
