Forward Alert not available

Morning all,
My 2011 RR Vogue SE 4.4 V8 has developed a ‘Forward Alert not available’ fault and consequently the cruise control is also unavailable. Anyone else had this and rectified it?

Quick update. During a recent visit to the UK I was quoted 1300 +VAT for a new radar emitter to solve the cruise control/forward alert issue. Obviously I can live without cruise for that price. Few days later and I took my RR through a local carwash and the cruise control & forward alert now work perfectly!!
Clearly Morrisons carwash in Dereham use magic water!!

Sounds like a bad connection, when the water dries out I would bet the fault will return.

Wash the camera lens more often

You could always disable the Forward Alert function, and simply look out the front window . . . . even when cruise control is being used !!

The bumper was off for diagnostics so dirt was not an issue. As for water ingress, I washed it 4 weeks ago and it still works, I’m told. Sadly I’m back in Saudi until April next year. Fingers crossed it’s all still working then

Forward alert uses radar, not a camera.
