For the forum techies ......................................... PLEASE!! No notification conundrum.

Can you advise if you log into yer email in a web page or download them to software like MS Outlook?
Can you advise the last bit of yer email address. like @hotmail.com or @snowman.com?

I get my emails on Mozilla Thunderbird, have done for years, and the last bit of my email is @gmail.com

Yer need to login online and either look in yer spam folder for lz emaiils and whitelist them, or add [email protected] to yer safe sender whitelist. Either give the same result. The folliwing link will guide yer what to do.

Thanks Hippo.
Strange thing happened last night, notifications started coming in!
I have changed nothing, yet everything seems back to how they were several weeks ago!
I'm confused ................................ but happy!

It could be lz fixing fings or gmail detecting peeps like the lz email address so not treating it as spam in their email system.

I'm registered on here with gmail and getting some notifications but not all.

The slight irritation is that the bell notification icon doesn't work most of the time. If I click on it to check the new messages will always be there, it just doesn't often trigger the function that puts the red number adjacent.

If yer press F5 to refresh the page it will update and put the red bell up if there's new notifications.
Do the safe list trick on yer gmail as per the link I posted a few posts up from ere.

My point is that the notification bell isn't working properly.

And as I said, I'm getting some email notifications, (none are going to spam). .

My emails alerts ain't stopped. Use the link I posted above to Whitelist the LZ email address in yer online email account. It may or may not be the problem. All yer doing is telling gmail yer trust the LZ email address so they will let emails from that address through to yer inbox. It won't hurt anyfink by whitelisting them. Even if it's not the problem. It's the first step to look at.

@accynina @accyroy @accywingy figured it out, when the server moooved, the SPF record wasn't updated
current SPF permits 176.56.61.107 yet emails are coming from 185.17.181.135 which isn't authorised to send mail for landyzone.co.uk

*nods sagely and slowly backs away looking for a crayon to nibble on*🤪
