well we planned a nice day out wiv family at savernake forest, nice day ill take the 90..got 1 mile from forest lost drive and load bangin on the floor of the 90..pulled over front propshaft was flappin in the wind,it has sheared thru the flange on the transfer box and totally shot the ujs to pieces..and as i had taken out me tool chest to get the kids in i had no tools to remove the prop and had to resort to the rac who were great

have taken off the front prop and i need a new flange and new ujs.
took off back prop as rear diff is leaking so might aswell do it all in one go

no wonder its leakin the whole flange you can move up and down and sideways so im assuming its a bearing or seal of some description?

i already have 4 heavy duty ujs to go on,so do i replace the whole rear diff? ive never taken one apart so wouldnt know where to begin with replacin the seal/bearing any ideas

possibly, although possibly not.
I'd get it out and have a good look before buying any parts - you might end up needing a complete diff.

If you get a 24 spline diff, you'll need new half shafts too.
In > 30 years of LandRovering, I've never broken a 10 spline diff or half-shaft.
Get what's cheapest.
