I currently own a 2001 RR Vogue 4.6 and have a full boxed set of new discs and pads...... she does not need them. I also own a 2001 Discovery V8 ES, who does need some new front discs and pads.

Does anyone know if the RR and Discovery share the same front disc and pad?..... My local garage seems to think so and various on line sites say so too. Im not convinced.

Can anyone please advise?
Thanks!
Dan

So you'd believe an unknown who could be a 10 year old kid for all you know over the local professionals who have a reputation to guard, and can be sued?

Are you 'the ten year old kid'?

Your unfriendly attitude would suggest so.

Never heard of the old saying 'If you have nothing nice to say..... say nothing'?

The part number SFP100480 for brake pads (axle set) seems to be the same at Paddock Spares. So they should be the same.

However, I'd still check by phone, since one set of the p38 pads (at least according to the numbers) are not listed under Disco II.

The pads are the same but the discs have a different offset so will not fit
do a search for BEARMACH and find your local dealer pretty sure the disks you need are SDB 000380 but check first
Your not the first to have noticed the wit of some of the so called tractor boys ie senior members on this site i think there stuck in the good old days as technology is leaving them behind see my FREELANDER THREAD
