Freelander 1 Folding mirrors

Hi guys
Im trying to get my folding mirrors to work after fitting i seen that the door loom did not have the small plug on it so i sourced two new looms with them attached now the fun part

I undid the plastics in the foot well only to find it had only one grey plug and the newer loom has one grey one black is there any one that can talk me through what i need to do to get them to work ill add pics of what i have cheers

Have you checked the rest of the (presumably power fold?) loom is there? It wasn't always fitted to lower spec models. If it's not there, you'll need to salvage one or make it up. You'll also need the fold controller and the folding mirror adjustment knob too.

I have the mirrors the thr folding unit for the dash board and wiring looms for the doors where is the relay normally kept for this is it in the fuse box

The fold controller is fitted just above the LH A post trim, clipped to a bracket. Obviously if it didn't have power fold as standard, then the controller won't be there, but if the wiring is installed, you'd see a multi-plug at the end of some wires. Pulling the dash switch out might also give you a clue as to the fold wiring fitment, as the fold wire will be installed in the switch multi-plug, which I'm sure is black/yellow, or black/blue, I'm going from memory here.
