Glad that's sorted.

Yes, intermittent faults are a nuisance, but 9 times out of 10 on mine it turns out to be something to do with dirty, verdigrised connectors somewhere. So a bit of scraping, electrical cleaner and maybe a light squeeze with a pair of pliers on tired female parts of bullet and spade connectors can sort it out.

Oops a bit late back to the party and it looks like its all finished! Glad you got it sorted, hopefully it will keep going, are you going to risk putting the switch in the right way around?

Yeah, it might be a dodgy connection somewhere. I'll wait with fingers crossed that it just keeps going. Cheers, Brown. :)

Ha, ha, I've already faced that dilema! Sat in the front seat with screwdriver poised, contemplating whether to go for it. A bit like Russian Roulette :D Thought feck it  Took the surround off, turned it around, fired her up and........................... fog light still working! Empty chamber ;)
Not only is the fog light working, but the switch is the right way around. What a night :) That's got to call for a Guinness ;)
