fob stopped working

Hi all

Hubby changed batteries in fob today as it stopped unlocking or locking car - red light was flashing on fob (and still is). We are having to unlock manually and then use the emergency key code to disarm the immoboliser. We have tried diconnecting battery and re-synching key but nothing still the same.

Any ideas please ?

FOB sync problem, RF receiver failed, door locks burnt etc.

Have you tryed pressing the remote while ignition In position 2

thanks guys rf receiver sounds more likely as battery has gone flat a couple of times too
