Flywheel Housing Gasket...with sealant?

Guys, am about to fit the new Elring ERR1440 flywheel housing gasket [the proper one coloured grey one side, rust orange the other]. When I removed the old gasket, grey side against housing, some form of adhesive/sealant was used. Is the general view to use trusty RTV for this task, or is there another specific sealant used?

200 tdi ? If you get a new gasket it comes with beads of the sealant already in place in the right parts of the gasket.

yes, 200tdi + gasket with inbuilt beads of orange sealant. so no other light smear of sealant required?

Last time I did mine it went on no extra sealant. Just have it all well clean.
