Hi All, came back to my TD4 02 and found a lovely rainbow pattern on the tarmac. Looking in from the front, there's a lot of fresh wetness. However, the pictures I've included are of a 'spout ' or 'pipe'. The reason I'm suspicious is because it's lovely and clean. Has something come loose? I think the fluid is diesel not oil. Is this the cause or am I barking up the wrong tree. I can't honestly remember noticing it before, and it's so clean, it caught my attention.
Any help would be appreciated. It's still running, I drove it home. The engine icon flicked on for a couple of seconds. That's all .

Without matching your pictures up to my engine it's hard to say, currently at work so can't look.
Best thing to do is follow the pipes. If it goes to the top cooler , long cylindrical thing next to the radiator, it's diesel.
If it goes back towards the bulk head and there are small plastic twist off covers, it's your air con.
Sorry I can't be more specific at the moment. Someone else might recognise it from the pics.

The part that is circled is the bleed nipple for your clutch the pipe above is a fuel line if you look at the last photo the pipe with the white quick release fitting is the fuel pipe I'm sure there will be a fuel return pipe aswell hope this helps pal

Thanks, clutch changed recently, so that explains its cleanliness..... doh.
Found the leak.
Coming from the fuel cooler. Under the rubber seal on the right (looking in).
So, find another and replace???
Thanks.
