Scotland,
I now have yet another issue with my L322. Went out yesterday to throw the cover over her and noticed a fluid stain on the drive. On checking it is coming from somewhere half way along the veh on the nearside. It is a thin oily type fluid which runs easily, sort of golden in colour but very clean. It has no discernible smell.
I cleaned the excess fluid up last night to see if it lost any more and it has dropped a nice amount again. the stain it has left is about 4 inches wide by 10 inches long , meaning it is spreading quite easily, so not a thick viscosity. I can't get under to trace the source but was thinking possibly to do with brakes or AC.
There were no issues or lights on when I parked it up on Friday evening and no little drips or warnings before.I check the veh every day before I use it, so would have seen any warning drips.
Anyone got any idea what it might be before I pay lots of money to a garage?
Thanks in advance.

Hasn't been 'warmer' here , apart from which this is a major amount of loss and definitely not condensation. So thanks for the suggestion but not that.
Air con isn't on, wasn't on, hasn't been on for several weeks. So don't think it's that. The ATF that I use is red, so that was ruled out straight away. Thanks again but neither of those.
I've had a further look under and is coming from approx 6 inches in from edge of body and literally half way along body. Only way I can describe the fluid is as I said to a friend earlier , it looks like cat pee :)
Anyone know where I can get a diagram of the underside of the veh, preferably with indications of main components on underside. Do wish Haynes would hurry up and put a book out on this model :(
Thanks again for the suggestions so far.

Oh and forgot to say she hasn't been driven since Friday. First sign of fluid leak showed up yesterday and new pool this morning in same spot.

Diesel? There is a fuel pump halfway along the chassis on near side ,above a little plastic cover on under tray.

JT wins the coconut :) Took to my friendly mechanic, with a sample of leaking fluid, ,turns out there is a hole in brake pipe and it was brake fluid. However, the fluid level still looked fine and no warnings on dash! So she is now in hospital being fixed. Thanks to all for the input.

A copy of RAVE for your model would be much more useful than a Haynes manual, if you can't find the download I can supply it on CD:)

Teamed up with your wet door card is it the matrix O rings leaking ? is the drivers mat wet and are you losing coolant?
