floor pan question

Where the floor pan meets the transmission cover, does the transmission cover sit OVER the floor pan, or does the floor pan sit on the lip of transmission cover. I am about to fit my passenger side floor pan hopefully once and for all, and would like to know what way round it goes before I seal it down.

Which reminds me, the tape stuff you’re supposed to buy for this is rubbish, any recommendations of how to seal the pan to the bulkhead/seatbox/sill/tranny

Use silicone sealant to stick it down.
The transmittion tunnel goes over the floor pan, the bell housing shaped bit goes under it

yep mine fits the same as Boydies. and dint bother sealing it. It'll make it easier for all the water what leaks in to drain away...

RTV silicone sealant works great cheapo bathroom stuff never sticks that well i use silicone on anything that needs a decent seal no the landy but as previously said its a biatch to completley stop the water getting in Jai
