Morning all, Not too sure about the battery in my 2002 TD5 Disco. It was off the road for a good 5 months, charged the battery for a good couple of days, popped it back in and all ok. When taking it for it's MOT the garage left the lights on for a few hours hence run down the battery again
. A long drive on the motorway and hey presto ! warning light gone. Another 4 weeks go past without using the car (holiday ) and now when I'm acelerating/ driving no problem, but when the engine is idle the warning light comes back on, I've just driven it into London an later on back home again so I hope it'll clear up but if it doesn't what should I check first? The battery is only about 14 months old and the alternator charged up the battery fine earlier?
