I tried this, it didn't work too well. so in the end went with getting some bends and making it properly.
(I used this: 24mm Twin Wall Flexible Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipe for Eberspacher Heaters | eBay)
Unless you mean something like this:

I got tubing from a local motorfactor's & cut wedges then welded it together.
