Hi All

A bit of advise please, my td5 is reasonably hesitant to accelerate from about 1800 through to about 2200 rpm, it's fine under "normal" driving (granddad style) but if you want to hustle along that band of revs is slow to pick up, before and after that it pulls like a train, I'm no mechanic but want to try and clean up bits and pieces before it gets put into the mechanics. To be honest it's fine as I drive around it but when going up a steep hill or towing heavy it's a bit of a mare so anything that I can do easily then that would be great.

Do the following:

1. Renew the air filter;

2. Clean the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor with aerosol Brake and Clutch cleaner.

Now test drive, first with the MAF connected, then with it disconnected; then report back.

Basics first - fuel filter/Air filter/check condition of intercooler/turbo hoses

Then - check the Injector harness - very common, loads of info on here

Is the turbo boosting - can you feel/hear in coming in/out?

Injector seals...? Seeing a few more D2's with injector seals failing...

I'm getting a flat spot between 2100-2500rpm on live data on my solus pro its showing the wastegate opening up to 40% why is this? Then it closes at 2500rpm I'm confused
