Flat barrtey BECM Sleep?

Hi guys, got a question for you. How long does the BECM take to go into sleep mode? As my P38 4.6 HSE has started draining the battery over a day or so. It did this a while ago and i disconnected the RF reciver and that seemed to fix it for about 6 months. But its doing it again!! If i look through the drivers window i can see the red park light staying on. Will this only stay on due to the RF reciver or can something else make it stay on? I know it should go out when the BECM goes into sleep mode. I may try disconnecting the RF completly as i only took off the feed wire. Any tips?
 
it could be where you are parking it, i would not take feed wire off rf box. and it should take about 10 mins to go to sleep..
 
tis only thing thats ever woke mine up, i cant park on my path as the wifi keeps it awake. we did have a door bell but it went missing,i think the bin men took it..lol
 
Well ive just been out to check it, and park light is still on after nearly an hour,so will try and park it somewhere else tomorrow. Its a bugger cos its been fine for 6 months!!
 
yep winds you up, if mine goes flat it loses sync and wont start. gets me going i can tell you, on a bad day i could just rip it apart..lol

Now the stupid politicians are going to give everyone a pension of £140 a week regardless of whether any contributions have been made or not you will be going to have a lot more of them:rolleyes: My hardworking Polish mate reckons he'll bring his mother and grandmother over just for the pension:eek:

Had the missfortune to go through Bradford last year, unless you have a turban or a burqua you just don't fit in anymore.:(

If it's any consolation it's ****ing down here in France too, but definately no sunny's:D

That my friend without trying to be political is a gross understatement. They own the place. I am seriously thinking of changing from atheist to muslim, then i could park where i wanted, drive the wrong way in oneway streets, use my mobile whilst driving, openly deal drugs etc. You know the usual benifits it brings.

Postscript. She just told me to get off my fat arse and make my own. You just cannot get the staff these days.
