Ok;

1) get RAVE - search on here will find the link from "landroversresource" - it should also find SaintV8's youtube video which is a fine intro to how it works.... ( and worth a watch ) ( RAVE is FREE!!!!!)

2) check the fuses and relays which are detailed in RAVE....

Two 10amp fuses ! 1 goes to switch 1 goes to relay ! But the book of lies dunt say fuse location !:mad:

+1 - Which is why it's carp, and known as same!!

thanks discool , will have a look at said fuses the 30 amp and 20 amp , just find it strange that all lights work ok but just wont flash when the lights are off , im starting to think the stalk maybe at fault ?

Don't bother with any fuses, u have a fully functioning lighting system don't u other that the "flash"... I will go with an iffy lighting switch, and test don't guess, so unplug remove and open it up to find the contact used in the flash function and check why it's not.

+1, test and inspect.
Alternatively you could try dowsing rods or a ouija board.
Apart from the headlights being able to switch on and off when required, the ability to flash the headlights is not a necessity, the Highway Code advises that such signals should be "treated with a pinch of salt" (my wording there) and only used to alert other road users to your presence and not as an invitation or instruction to do something.
