Hello All. I have recently bought an 06 FL2 cause it had only done 117,00 miles and it was Dark when a bought it. Turns out It's got rust issues but Al get them sorted. Av got the timing belt done and give it a good clean for now. The annoying thing was the terrain response wasn't working and it kept showing this orange triangle sign on the dash. This was winding me up for a out three weeks until I had a flashback. My dad used to have a Nissan patrol when I was a lad and I remember him doing this thing to engage some sort of fuction ( a don't know what the fuction was) He would put the patrol in reverse and a think back up a bit to it. A thought well av not a clue what to do so Al give this a try. Sure enough when the terrain response says fault and the dash says it's off I turn the engine off put my car in reverse , start the car and quickly back up about three foot. The dash then says nothing , the dial icon comes on and all the TR functions work bob on. Since doin this there has only been one time
The TR hasn't worked. I repeated the process again an the.same thing happened again. It s been working for 2 and a half weeks now . I thought I would share this with you . Please comment.

The TR system needs a full systems diagnostic to identify the issue. If it has a warning on the dash, then the AWD is disabled, so it'll be FWD only.
You could check the FB6 fuse in the boot fuse box. This is often removed to hide issues with the Haldex on demand coupling.

This is the fuse box. A think it has been removed

Av been looking stuff up as I am a novice. It appears the blue fuse with 15 on it is the FB6 fuse. No clue what to do now . Al have to get a diagnostic done a guess.

Get a diagnostic done. There's no way to identify the issue without one, as these vehicles are very complex.
