Ive got a new fault code meter on its way it should clear it
Depends on the year of the vehicle. Not all code readers can access all years of FL1.

If it's the FL1 in your avatar, then it's not going to be OBD2 compliant. You'll need a dedicated FL1 code reader like the Hawkeye or Icarsoft I930.

What year is your FL? I *think* its only 2001/2002ish onwards that support eobd/obdII unless its something designed specific for the FL which can be expensive.

Not the TD4. That engine wasn't OBD2 compliant until late 2004, and then it's not fully compliant.

Pre-2004 needs a dedicated FL1 code reader like the Hawkeye or Icarsoft I930.;)
