Have you checked your new bulb is good.
Try both the old one and new one in your good headlight

Yeah if tried that the new bulb works fine so not really sure where to start now

You checked the fuse, seems the headlight has its own
No but I will now, was unaware that the rah dipped beam had its own fuse :S
