fixed my stalling problem on rr now my fob does not work and my e/w+s/r say not set

hi every one fixed my stalling problem at last! went through some hours testing different thing took tank off tested pump checked fusses run fresh pipes out of a jerry can etc seriously annoyed then bright spark me lol decided to check injectors to see if fuel was getting to the engine NOPE so i once again checked fuel cut off and realised the wire was very furry and a bit corroded put it to a live and wallah lol but now because of all the times i have tried to start it flattened my battery put a new one on dries 100% but now all my windows and sun roof say not set and my fob wont lock or unlock of any of my doors please help.. thanks

you need to read up on the eka procedure.

hi ya tries running through the open shut etc.. but more annoyed about my fob not locking my doors why is that do u think? cheers

cos its not sync'd, look for that bit on the link i gave you!

you need to set windows and sunroof, the input eka, then sync the key. should be good as new then!

or8 pal my windows and sun-roof are all set lol few but this eka read up still does not work .
but when i put my key in the drivers door and turn to unlock and hold etc should my doors unlock and lock because my door pin does not move so im wounder in if my door lock is knakered or should that be the case should it not operate the door because its not linked up

seperate(in your mind) the two elements of the lock, the remote and the key. the key will only physically operate the drivers door. the others are controlled electronically from the drivers door.

drivers door only moving then its not set up in the eka dept.

all doors moving then the eka is in.

now if the drivers isnt moving but others are it could be that the pin connector is damaged.

try turning the key almost to breaking point, sometimes the mech is worn and requires a bit extra force.

if no joy take the door card off and inpect the links and then remove lock mech, dismantle and plug it back in and fiddle with the workings.

once you have it locking and unlocking then you can get eka in.

the door lock is a known issue and a search should find you some info.

hi ya i live in Halifax westyorkshire i do think my door mechanisim is dodgey so i will take door card off again as it does not move the pin at all also batt as gone flat again this morning so i will prob after run through all the open close business again lol ill charge batt take door card off and run through procedure again ill tell ya if it works thanks so much for helping
