Hi all. Plan to run twin batteries in my Disco 1 however to save me removing my air con and messing with the snorkel under the bonnet I'm thinking about putting them behind the front seats as I'm not running any back seats.

They are liquid filled so will I need to put them in a box, or would a dog guard behind the seats be enough?

Was planning on putting them in a proper box and being done with it but don't want to have issues come MOT time.

Any advise appricated :)
