Fitting TD5 Bullbar

I have just been gifted a wrap round bullbar for my TD5 (2 pints of guiness) Looked at where it attaches and found looking through the air vent mesh where i think it goes. However, looks like i will need to cut slots in the bumper to fit it. Is this the case? and if so, is there a template? Don't want to go hacking away blind. Is this a ploy by LR to get you to purchase a sloted bumper? Appreciate some info if anyones has fitted one!!!

Yes you need to cut slots, have you got the mounting brackets for it as well coz without them its useless
