Fitting side steps to P38

Guys,

I kept the side steps off my old Disco 1. I haven't checked yet but are the fittings the same as the P38. I naturally retained the angle brackets, bolts etc I jsut haven't made time to check the underside of the vehicle.

the ones of a metro might fit:doh:

a disco 1 is a disco 1 and a p38 is a p38.buy some p38 steps and sell the disco ones..although the steps are the 1st things people take off as they get ripped orf when offroading,but if youve got a p38 offroadin wont be top of your list,keeping it running will

That's what I love about this site. I have asked for some help and advice on three occasions in the past because I'm not very mecanically minded and I experienced with Land Rovers.

All I seem to get is smart ass comments from anally retentive tossers like you.

Take measurements first dude go from there, someone who's good a fabrication and a welder might be able to help you but personally might be cheaper to get some p38 steps and sell on the d1's to gain some of your money back, eitherway it's your call

one thing tho I noticed your new like me to this forum and if easily offended it's best to take comments and opinions with a bucket of salt as with previous experiance on Peugeot forums flaming don't work as it only winds others up and makes posting awkward in the future...

ask a dumb ass qs and get a dumb ass answer..wot sort of knobhead thinks he can put sidesteps of a rangerover p38 on a discovery...oh yeh you do
