Hello,

Can anyone tell me what mounting type/size radio I will need in order for it to simply replace the original LR cassette play in my 1995 Defender CSW? And also what are the size of the speakers under the dash board?

Many thanks
Robert

its a standard din size so any stereo will fit really, not sure what wiring that year has, you can get an adapter for most years from people like nexxia or you can just cut the existing plug off and buy an iso plug to stick on the end, thats what I did on mine.

ITS TRUE ITS A STANDARD DIN BUT I TRIED TO FIT AN ALPINE MP3 IN THERE, AND THERE WAS NO WAY, ENDED UP WITH A NEW CENTRE CONSOLE TO MOUNT IT IN, ALSO A GOOD HOME THE ACCSESORIES SWITCHES, ETC.

AND THE SPEAKERS, IN THE BIN, WOULD RECOMEND JBL'S, FOR WHAT THEY'RE WORTH THAT SIZE, BE CAREFULL I TRIED TO TEMP FIT SOME KENWOOD 4" COMPONANTS AND NO WAY, CURENTLY INSTALLING 2 PAIR 8" JBL AND A 4 CHANNEL AMP SO I CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THE MUSIC OVER THE REST OF ROW THAT GOES ON WITH A 110 VAN, THO NOT IN THE SAME HOLES.

GOOD LUCK

REGARDS RICHARD
