Hi I am in the process of ordering a set of new front springs for a 99 disco.
I am in France so I will need to make sure that I order the right bits and bits that maybe worth replacing at the same time bolts bushes or something like that.
As getting bits is not very easy and expensive over here.So any help or advice is much needed.

Front springs are "handed", different spring for drivers side than passengers.
You will need spring compressors.
I ordered replacement turret rings with mine but didnt need them as the originals were perfect.
Might as well replace front shocks when you have it stripped to that extent.

That's right you undo anti roll bar compress the shocks and drop the axle as much as possible and then it says is possible to drop the springs out so spring compressors would make sense the I wouldn't have to drop the axle to the point of damaging brake lines etc.thanks for the tip.

Ifyou undo the bracket that locates the brake hose on the lower spring mount, it helps prevent to brake hose being stretched when you lower the axle.
You can avoid needing to remove the arb links if you remove the wheels on both sides & lower the axle on both sides (so the arb doesn't "resist" the axle being lowered). Obviously both dampers top mounting bolts need removing from the damper turrets.
Remember to undo the abs sensor cable connectors inside the engine bay & pull some cable through the wing so that the cables aren't stretched /broken by the axle being lowered.
Removing the nuts that hold the damper turrets allows you to "wiggle" the dampers out more easily - as the damper has to come out & go back with the spring
