once I lived in hainault/chigwell area, and frikin toot toots by big boys playing trains at 4 & 5 in the morning in the overnight parking siding for the central line got right up your frikin nose.
each train toot tooted out as it trundled out to disapear into the bowels on londons underground each morning..
I moved !

a bloke fitted a us train horn to his defender he had to use a compressor and a separate air tank to make it work correctly, check lro back issues its in there cant remember which,i think hes a bit of a collector of these things he had a web site so try google it may come up
