Hi. Does anyone have experience in fitting one of these to a 90 pickup. Amy advice would be very welcome. Thanks Jonny.

I will send you pics when it is done. I think the kit will take a week or so to arrive. Do you think the fuel the heater uses will starve the supply to the engine if I tap into the same line.I think all you need is some small capillary line and a one way valve (placed where you T'd the original line), to prevent the engine causing fuel to draw from it while running.
Looking at the specs on that heater (as i was curious), even on the lowest setting it kicks out almost a kilowatt of heat while only consuming 1litre of fuel per 10 hours operation, you could possibly even just rig up a separate small 2l - 3l tank (old washer bottle or any similar polyethylene / steel container), and then run it as a stand alone system for 20-30 hours continuous use between fills, and that is assuming you want to keep the cab pretty hot the whole time as well, no doubt at a 50% duty cycle with a bit of a boost from the timer before you get in of a cold morning you'd see over 30 hours on 2 litres.
Pics of what you eventually cobble together anyway please!
That is super helpful. Thanks very much. It was the only bit I was worried about.

good to hear it was of use to u, always best to run a separate supply to the heater , as it has its own fuel pump and filter and don’t want to take it off the engines fuel pump supply
always best to follow the manufacturers instruction so then at least u know it’s done correctly , the fuel pipe tee may come in the kit
plse us know how u get on
