Fitting cruise control to a classic

Hi all...

I want to fit the cruise control to my classic as it was not originally fitted ,

Is the loom fitted ready for the cruise control hardware or is this something I would need to get as well.

I would like to fit original equipment rather than aftermarket stuff..

Any info would be greatly appreciated...

Right well i have now spent 3 hours researching this and apparently the range rover i have was fitted with cruise control.. and like many other things it has been removed...

has anybody got a range rover classic with the cruise control fitted that could give me some information about it..

there should be an ecu behind the glove box, vacuum pump and throttle controller under the bonnet, switch on the dash.. i would like to know how the speed is set .. is there suposed to be a stalk switch to control it ??? or dash mounted controller ??? if anyone has pics i would be gratefull..
