Hey guys,

I am in the process of bunging an original LR loadspace liner into the back of my 7 seater disco. I don't intend to use the seats any more (or when the liner is in place).

Would I be best removing the carpet, or leaving it in, underneath the boot liner? I tend to carry wet diving gear about from time to time and wonder if I would be best leaving the carpet out, so water doesnt get trapped between the liner and the boot floor and rot it out.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

David

Hi David,
If you are going to get a wet carpet then take it out, or leave it in and take more care or use a tarp or plastic sheet over the carpet before fitting the boot liner.
I don't have a boot liner as such just a fitted rubber boot mat that's everything proof and that lays on top of the carpet without any problems.
