Fitting an electric fan

I've got an electric fan kit from bolt on bits waiting to go on.

I think I'm fine fitting it all apart from one thing, the temp sensor thing.

It comes with a T-piece type thing with the sensor in it. Do I literally cut through the tube at the top of the radiator with a stanley and slot this between the two halves? Or is there something I'm missing?

dunno if ya missing owt?? But yu just cut pipe and insert Tee.

Oh cool, just wanted to check that before I cut the pipe and realised it was supposed to go somewhere else.
