Fitting a DVD player

Hello all, Im thinking of fitting a roof mounted DVD player in a Disco 3 but not sure how to go about it. Is it a job easy enough to do myself or is it reccomended I use the LR dealer. Any top tips or info on the topic would be much appreciated.

fitting in car electrics isnt too difficult, as long as you have a basic understading of electrics. The problem with in roof dvd player is that it means (I guess) removing the head lining to fit the player and to run wiring down into dash. This is the difficult part,as head linings are notoriously hard work....
If it is a genuine LR dv d player, it should be easier as there will be a place fo ti to mount, and there ay even be pre wiring for it....this would mean no head lining removal...

Cheers Mike for the link. There is already a light console unit in place so Im hoping like you said it may already have the wiring in place. A little more research required as my wiring skills are pretty basic. Now onto my next dilemma, the central locking on my passenger door is now not unlocking at all....Great!
