Having recently fitted a car alarm to my FL1, the one thing that caused me the most trouble was finding the earth connections for the doors. There are no hard-wired switches, as such, unlike other vehicles. My car is a 3-door version, so what I did has been put onto a .jpeg picture/schematic. The 5-door might be different.
Locating the wires was difficult as space to manouvre myself beneath the instrument panel was very restrictive. The harness is the main one, being verticle, and the only wires with the indicated colour are the only ones like it in the loom.

I'll add, my car has two alarm systems in operation, where the one I fitted has a bump sensor, while the standard LR one doesn't - and that is important to me. Security is always an issue.
