First time Disco owner with an Oil Leak

Hi Landy Zone,

You guys were so great will my last problem that I have come straight back with my new one.

I have recently bought a 2000 Disco II and it drives well but I have noticed that there is a patch of oil under the car where I park it and the oil level is getting low. I have had a look under the car and I can see that it is dripping slowly (very slowly). When I bought the car a few weeks ago the owner said that he hasn't had a problem with oil leaking. Maybe it is a new development.

I don't know where to start, can anyone give me some advice on what to do about this oil leak? I haven't the foggiest.

Tell us where its dripping from?

1st. front or rear of the vehicle and the colour of the fluid.
2nd. that will depend on what u find.
3rd. maybe better if you get a garage to put it on a ramp for a look.
