What do you use to replace the plastic/PVC/rubbery film under the door card?

Found mine ripped!

I was thinking old shower curtain, heavy duty dust sheet, pvc sheets off the bed!

When I've replaced door cards on old MGB's in the past I've used the plastic bag that the door cards came in cut to size!

It only needs to be a piece of plastic cut to the right size. It's only purpose is to protect the door card from getting damp.

Any heavy duty plastic sheet, cut to size should do. A small piece of damp proof course (DPC) from your local builder's merchant.

Just make sure that when you do fit it the bottom edge stays inside the door. Stick it in place with some 2 inch wide duct tape.

10mm double sided tape.
Old polyester sheet that was a paddling pool!
