I am wanting to remove my lamp guards both front and rear but they are fixed into the bodywork with drill fixings.

Considering i don't have a welder, how do i fill these holes so they blend in with the metallic silver paintwork??

On the front they fix above and below the headlight surrounds.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bit of a bodge really - I've cut a small piece of ali the same size as the hole and thickness of the panel and another a little larger, used an adhesive to stick them together and then from behind stuck the two to the body, with the smaller piece filling the hole. Bit of filler and paint on the outside and job done. Looks quite tidy from behind too, if you make a good job of the back piece, and paint it! Bit like a blind grommet really.
Cheap and cheerful - guess it depends on what you want.....

Just put a large rivet through each of the holes and then paint over them. It will look like fine, it's not a botch up and, should you want to re-fit guards in the future, all you have to do is knock the head off the rivet or drill it out :)

I'd put a sheet of fiber glass on the back then filler on the front. Nice and smooth and you cam knock it out if you want to refit it
