1. Depends
2. Depends
3. Depends
4. Have a guess at the answer....go on...take a wild shot in the dark.... :p

super answer, now i know why i stayed in germany

 if you're planning on doing winch challenges then twin alt and aux battery are a great idea.....if you want to run a stereo then twin alts are a bit over the top.

Then again if your stereo is a mobile disco unit......

Give us some clues and it maybe possible to give some reasonable answers.

No promises mind :D

I'm guessing that the 2nd alternator is in fact a 24v generator. It won't do you any good and will ad a bunch of weight to your truck and stain to the motor. Pass on it or sell it on EBay if there is even a market for it.

First of all i ask because i dont have a clue why i would need it, No radio nothing electrical yet, Later a Independent Heater for the winter but thats it.

These things are looked for Here in germany.

But if i had a second Battery would i need the other alternator, dont think so but thats why i ask.

The 2nd alternator is for the 24V set-up and is totally independant of the vehicle electrics.
Unless you were going to run 24V accessories and fit the twin batteries then no, you don't need it but take it anyway as there is always a market for that type of thing.

Rip out any and all of the 24 volt stuff, its heavy and fairly useless and is really easy to get rid of....and no, unless you are brainless you wont (cant) get the 24 volt stuff confused with anything else.

Enjoy your ffr, they are ace...even if it is a 2.5 n/a like mine :)

Steve.

My mate uses his at his haulage firm with a massive amp alt uses it to jump start the wagons if they go flat ... He's always on the look on eBay for spare ones
