Bottoms of my doors driver and passenger side have gone rusty I'm really new to all this and would like some advice on how to get rid of the rust etc. Or should I just change the door lol.

Sounds silly if I was to take the roof and back off and door tops so it was roofless is it still legal to drive as the seat belts would have been taken off

hi i had to take the roof of mine its legal just reposition the seat belt to behind the seat and the doors just look on ebay they are cheap enough just to replace

What I would like to do as I reckon its going to need new door top soon on the drivers side :( my neighbor tells me because she is original keep everything original which I plan on doing but don't see how changing the door will matter but just be matching the color

longs you just replace the parts like for like new or old its still original surely
most people paint the landys anyway i got to paint my tailgate the same colour because i got a green one and my series is blue complete doors will only cost you about 70 quid look on paddocks

Just looked at paddocks and they are showing different prices for series 2/2a door bottoms and series 3 ones. What is the difference? I was under the impression they were both the same.

Are they interchangeable? I have a 1966 that is now nearly all series 3 with rotten doors and was looking to get replacements but which ones?

Doortops interchangeable.
Bottoms should go with bulkhead because of door stay.i.e s3 bulkhead with s3 door bottom. If you're not worried about the stay then they are interchangeable.
(you could probably budge the stay anyway - although I've never tried it)
